Learning Objectives
Join us in this workshop where we will highlight key sensory and motor milestones achieved between the ages of 3 and 6 for children.
Attendees will discover a range of activities designed to foster sensory and motor development and will learn how to recognize signs that a child might need additional support to reach these important milestones.
This presentation will equip caregivers and providers with a range of low-cost or free activities designed to support sensory and motor development in children, applicable across home, school, and community settings. Participants will gain insights on how to identify children who may be lagging in their development and learn when early intervention is needed to ensure these children can fully engage in all aspects of their lives.
Training Objectives
Participants will be able to recognize a minimum of six sensory and motor milestones that typically occur between the ages of 3 and 6.
Participants will be able to list at least six activities designed to enhance sensory and motor development.
Participants will be able to identify at least three signs that may indicate a child needs a referral to a therapist for support in achieving developmental milestones.
