Troubleshooting Common Challenges in Child-Centered Play Therapy
Presented by Amanda Robinson, LPC-S, RPT-S™
November 14, 2025
Even with solid training in Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT), it’s completely normal to face challenges in the playroom that leave you feeling stuck! (Let’s be honest — grad school can’t prepare you for everything.)
In this presentation, you’ll examine eight common play therapy dilemmas using a CCPT lens and learn practical, connection-preserving strategies to navigate them.
You’ll gain tools rooted in CCPT, while also discovering how to mindfully incorporate techniques from other play therapy theories, because no one single theory is one-size-fits-all. If you’ve ever sat in a session thinking, “Am I doing this right?” This training is for you.
