Esteem Building and Returning Responsibility

Presented by Rachel Esparza, LPC

In this presentation, we'll explore the core skills of esteem-building and reflecting feelings. Through engaging video clips, real-world examples, and hands-on practice, participants will learn how to recognize and respond to children’s emotional experiences with empathy.

Through the lessons, you'll be able to recognize how responses that build esteem and return responsibility promote emotional awareness, beliefs of capability, and self-worth. You will leave with practical tools to strengthen relationships with children by supporting their sense of self and helping them feel seen, heard, and understood.
