Sunrise to Sunset: Play Therapy Intakes & Terminations

Presented by Joy Cannon, MA, LPC-S, RPT-S™, NCC

Come to learn or refresh play therapy intake skills & termination practices from a seasoned clinician. Each unique therapeutic relationship begins with intentional informed consent and blossoms through metaphor and interaction, so an ethical conclusion needs to be handled with care.

This training will help beginner and experienced therapists to facilitate effective meetings and sensitive endings. The building and closing phases can also evoke anxiety, tender love, past losses and more in the play therapist. We will reflect together to nurture the whole play therapist, integrating wisdom gained from attendee's career journeys.
